On September 8 of that year, Whitetail Baptist Church held its first service in Heart Butte's Senior
Citizens Center. For the next 6 years, services continued to be held in the Senior Citizens Center. In 1991, services were moved to the Heart Butte Round Hall.
In the summer of 1985, Pastor Larrie Bunyan, his wife Carol, and their children moved to the area, being led by the Lord to establish a Bible-centered
church in Heart Butte.
Through the providential provision of the Lord, property was acquired and construction began on our own building in 1995. Volunteers from Indiana, New York, Arizona, Florida, and Montana, as well as members of Whitetail Baptist Church, played a vital role in the building's construction, and it was ready for use in June of 1996.
