WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are divinely inspired in their very words. Holy men of God were directed by the Holy Spirit in such a definite way that their writings were free from error. The Bible is the highest authority and the final authority for our faith and life.

We believe that there is one true and living God, the Creator and Ruler of Heaven and earth. God is eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, and His presence is everywhere. The One God reveals himself to us as three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - who have distinct ministries yet perfect harmony in every part of their being.

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He eternally existed as God the Son, and became man through the miracle of the virgin birth, being conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as the perfect and only sacrifice for our sin. He arose the third day in His glorified body, and is now sitting at the right hand of God interceding for us. Jesus Christ will one day return to earth to establish His kingdom just as He promised.

We believe that man was a direct creation by God. By personal disobedience to the revealed will of God, man became sinful. All people today are sinners by nature, are under the judgment of God, and are in need of God's forgiveness.

We believe that salvation is the forgiveness of our sin, the restoring of our relationship with God, and the
securing of Heaven for us. Salvation is the gift of God. We cannot earn it by any good works. Jesus Christ paid our sin debt on the cross. We receive salvation by admitting to God our sinfulness and our inability to live up to God's required perfection, and placing our faith in Jesus Christ alone.

We believe that a New Testament church is a group of people who have experienced true salvation and have been baptized (immersed) in obedience to the Lord's command. These followers of Jesus have voluntarily united together as a local assembly for the purpose of worship, prayer, fellowship, instruction in the Word of God, and the spreading of the Gospel message.

We believe that the Scripture commands followers of Jesus to strive to live a holy life and to separate themselves from sinful and worldly lifestyles, in order to honor the Lord for all that He has done for us.
